Spearfish East Low Zone Water System

The East Low Zone Water System Improvements Project enhanced water service and reliability for the City of Spearfish. The project consisted of the construction of a new well house equipped with modern pumps, treatment systems, and advanced controls, along with expanded water mains that improve system connectivity and water distribution throughout the area.

A new 1.0-million-gallon storage tank was also added to increase capacity and help maintain consistent water pressure, particularly during periods of high demand. Additional features, including advanced monitoring systems, site access improvements, and supporting infrastructure, help ensure efficient operation and long-term reliability.

These upgrades were designed to meet current needs while preparing the system for future growth and development. Together, the completed improvements provide a more dependable, efficient, and resilient water system for residents and businesses throughout the Spearfish community.
