Pine Ridge Lift Station

RCS Construction is proud to highlight the completed Pine Ridge Water Treatment Technology Project, a crucial upgrade that has significantly improved water infrastructure for the community's 3,308 residents. This $1.5 million project addressed the critical need to replace an aging and failing lift/pump station, which had frequently caused pump failures and raw sewage discharge, posing environmental and health concerns for the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Our work involved the installation of a new, state-of-the-art double box culvert duplex lift station with an emergency standby generator. These vital improvements have eliminated harmful discharges and ensure the reliable pumping of sewage to the water and waste treatment facility, meeting both current and future needs. This project is a testament to providing reliable infrastructure that protects the health and safety of the Pine Ridge community.
