Whitewood Creek Restoration

The Whitewood Creek Restoration Project is complete, and we're thrilled with the results! This extensive effort, divided into five key areas, has brought significant improvements to the creek and its surrounding spaces. We tackled everything from building strong new concrete walls and adding beautiful stone accents to fixing up parking lots and installing new walkways. We also put in a special system to effectively manage stormwater and protect the creek banks, along with constructing a sturdy boulder wall right in the creek itself.

These vital upgrades have created safer, more attractive spaces for our community to enjoy right here in Rapid City. We're excited about how these completed changes will enhance the beauty and functionality of Whitewood Creek for years to come!
