Special Olympics Bocce Complex

We're thrilled to highlight a truly special project we helped bring to life: the Special Olympics Bocce Complex right here in Rapid City! Located conveniently at the intersection of Omaha Street and Mount Rushmore Road, this fantastic facility features eight brand-new outdoor bocce courts, offering a wonderful space for both athletes and our community.This complex was specifically built to provide our incredible Special Olympics athletes with a dedicated, top-notch venue for training and competition. But the fun isn't just for them – these courts are also open to the public for recreational play, welcoming people of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities. Each court measures a spacious 12' by 60' and is designed to allow for "banking the ball" – just like billiards – adding an extra layer of fun to the game. It's a wonderful addition to Rapid City, fostering inclusivity and providing a vibrant new spot for everyone to enjoy the game of bocce!
