Western Dakota Tech Campus Expansion Project

The Western Dakota Campus expansion project involved the construction of several key additions to support the growing needs of the institution. The project included a new 31,110 square-foot diesel service technology building, designed to provide advanced training facilities for students in the field of diesel mechanics. Additionally, an 8,777 square-foot expansion was added to the existing Medical Simulator Lab, enhancing the campus's capabilities in medical education and training. A 13,123 square-foot multi-purpose addition was also constructed, offering flexible space for various educational and community functions. Lastly, a 15,434 square-foot public safety addition was built to support programs in law enforcement, fire science, and emergency medical services. Together, these expansions significantly enhance the campus's ability to offer comprehensive training across multiple disciplines, strengthening its role in workforce development.
