Bob Scull was raised in a construction family. His grandfather
and father were both hands-on commercial carpenters, and
Bob began as a carpenter/foreman in a local construction
company. Bob graduated from South Dakota School of Mines
and Technology with a bachelors degree in engineering, then
spent time in a steel company near Chicago, Illinois as a civil
engineer. Returning to Rapid City, he was part of two other
construction companies, and in 1992, Bob founded his own company,
R.C.S. Construction, Inc., as a small general construction company.
His first contract was for an $89,900.00 City Sign Shop project. Today,
R.C.S. Construction, Inc. is contracting for building projects of
$18,000,000 or more.
